Refund & Return Policy
At Xiangcha (香茶), we provide premium, authentic Chinese teas direct from our ancestral gardens. Due to strict international food safety and hygiene regulations, all tea products are considered perishable items and are generally non-returnable and non-refundable. Please read our strict policy below before placing your order.
1. Final Sale & No Returns for Personal Preferences
- All Sales Are Final: We do not accept returns or offer refunds if you simply change your mind, order the wrong item by mistake, or dislike the personal taste/flavor profile of the tea.
- Food Safety First: To protect the health of all our global customers, once a tea package leaves our facility, it cannot be restocked or resold under any circumstances. Therefore, no returns are accepted for opened or unopened tea products.
2. Exceptions: Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
We only issue replacements or store credit under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Qualifying Issues: The outer vacuum-sealed aluminum pouch was severely punctured/torn during transit, or we accidentally shipped the incorrect tea variety.

- Evidence Required: Your email must include your Order Number and clear, unedited photographic evidence of the damaged pouch or incorrect item. Late requests or requests without proof will be automatically rejected.
3. Approved Solutions
- Once our team verifies your photographic proof, we will, at our discretion, either ship a free replacement of the correct item or issue a store credit/gift card for your next purchase.
- Cash refunds to your original payment method are only granted under extreme logistical errors verified by the shipping carrier.
